If you would have told us that walking past a late 1800’s Inn with a for sale sign would lead to such a fun adventure last May we would have laughed. While we had a great season with taking ownership last June we really had to hit the ground running. We didn’t have the time to do many updates, so our plan was to tackle them during the off season. We had a busy and productive winter spent renovating and updating to get ready for our second season. Our big projects included a brand-new guest kitchen and dining room. We really wanted to make these spaces guest friendly and a home away from home feel while being able to cater to large groups. Next, we set our sights on new carpeting, flooring, and updating the hallways and common spaces. We wanted to bring in some fun pops of color and whimsical art for everyone to enjoy during their stay.
Major Guestrooms updates soon followed – each room has been updated with new carpet, flooring, paint, furnishings or décor. Our major lift came with the rooms below.
#5 turned into a beautiful beachy escape with light flooring, fresh paint, bed and décor to tie it all together.
#11 received a complete revamp with two new bathrooms, new flooring throughout, paint, furnishings and bed upgrade to a King.
#14 is now a fun family suite option with 2 bedrooms with new queen bed and two twins, new flooring, paint, and décor.
#15 has become a great space for an extended stay with a brand-new kitchenette and appliances, new dining room table, sofa, seating area, furnishings, and paint.
We still have grand plans for continued updates during the off season but excited to share what we have been doing with everyone this season. Looking forward to welcoming returning and new guests alike while making friends along the way.
